About the Academy
The Vienna Opera Academy is an international Summer training program with sessions in July and August in the heart of Vienna. Performances take place in prestigious venues such as the Ballsaal Grand Hotel Wien and Mozarthaus Vienna.
The Academy offers advanced training for opera singers, conductors, pianists/repetiteurs, composers, and assistant stage directors through a combination of one-on-one coaching, masterclasses, and group rehearsals. Participants gain insight into the professional music world and develop the tools necessary for a successful operatic career.

Orchestra Program
As part of the Vienna Opera Festival Orchestra Program, orchestral musicians take part in opera productions, performing alongside international singers and working with experienced conductors — creating a unique bridge between advanced training and real professional operatic experience.
